FashionPass is an online clothing rental service for women located in Gardena, CA.
In this position, the Shipping and Receiving Manager (Manager 1), will be responsible for overseeing the shipping + returns team to pack and ship customer orders swiftly and efficiently along with processing customer returns. With a lead-by-example mentality, you will hold yourself and your team accountable to achieve daily shipping goals. This role will report to our Shipping Operations Manager.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensures that customer orders are picked and shipped timely + accurately
- Help manage a warehouse team of approximately 10 associates to work in tight coordination to prep, pack and load multiple truckloads of product daily with different carriers.
- Perform administrative actions to record and organize documentation for each separate carrier using FashionPass’ unique inventory system and Google Suite functions (email, some Excel).
- Coordinates with Warehouse Management on shipping notices, invoices, delivery receipts, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the shift, including proper workforce utilization, effective use of standard operating procedures, training and motivating team members and operating in a safe and productive manner.
- Provide real-time coaching on safety, quality, behavior, or performance standards according to FashionPass policies and values to ensure daily goals are being met.
- Communicates regularly with management, other supervisory personnel, and warehouse staff to ensure coordination of warehouse activities and staffing.
- Maintain a stocked, clean and organized work area to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in management or a leadership position
- Great organizational and record keeping skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple shipment logistics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and high attention to detail
- Excellent punctuality, attendance & reliability
- Ability to stand for extended periods of times (8+ hours)
- Ability to lift 10-20 pounds on occasion
- Basic computer knowledge
- Must be a team player with an amazing attitude
- Due to the nature of our business, must be a non smoker
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
Schedule Availability Requirements:
- Full-Time
- Saturday - Wednesday 10AM - 7:00PM (off Thursday and Friday)
- Occasional Weekend Availability
